Decimal Odds — The Filipino Standard

Decimal odds are what LuxWinPH displays by default, and they are the easiest format to work with. The number represents your total return per ₱1 staked — including your original stake.

Formula: Payout = Stake × Decimal Odds

Example: If you bet ₱500 on a team at odds of 2.50, your total return is ₱500 × 2.50 = ₱1,250. That is ₱750 profit plus your ₱500 back.

Decimal odds below 2.00 mean you are betting on a favourite. Odds above 2.00 mean you are on the underdog. An odds of exactly 2.00 is called "evens" — you double your money if you win.

The implied probability of decimal odds is calculated as: 1 ÷ Decimal Odds × 100. So odds of 2.50 imply a 40% chance of winning. If you believe the real chance is higher than 40%, that is a value bet.

Fractional Odds — The Classic British Format

Fractional odds show your profit relative to your stake. A fraction like 3/1 (read "three to one") means for every ₱1 you bet, you win ₱3 profit. Your stake is returned separately.

Formula: Profit = Stake × (Numerator ÷ Denominator)

Example: ₱500 at 5/2 odds → Profit = ₱500 × (5 ÷ 2) = ₱1,250. Total return = ₱1,250 + ₱500 stake = ₱1,750.

Odds-on favourites appear with the bigger number on the bottom — like 1/3 — meaning you bet ₱3 to win ₱1 profit. Underdogs have the bigger number on top, like 7/2.

To convert fractional to decimal: (Numerator ÷ Denominator) + 1. So 5/2 = 2.5 + 1 = 3.50 decimal. LuxWinPH does this conversion automatically when you switch formats in your account settings.

American Odds — Common in UFC and NBA Betting

American odds use a plus (+) or minus (−) sign. The minus sign indicates the favourite; the plus sign indicates the underdog. The numbers represent how much you need to bet to win ₱100 (for favourites) or how much you win from a ₱100 bet (for underdogs).

Favourite (−): Odds of −150 mean you bet ₱150 to win ₱100 profit.

Underdog (+): Odds of +200 mean a ₱100 bet wins ₱200 profit.

To convert +200 to decimal: (200 ÷ 100) + 1 = 3.00. To convert −150: (100 ÷ 150) + 1 = 1.67 decimal.
